The Municipality of Eldoret Wednesday held meetings on with the Contractor and the Consultant of the construction of the the 64 Stadium.
Speaking during the meeting,the project consultant urged the Contractor to hasten the work.

“Work on your planning noting lapsing time. If you have any goods to be imported, make your orders in advance to avoid last minute rush or delays,” said Architect David Kanja, the Principal Consultant at Dama Services team leader of the project consulting consortium.

On his part, Tito Koiyet, the client representative called on speedy but quality workmanship of the project. “We want to urge both the Consultant and the Contractor to hasten the construction but not to compromise the workmanship. As you know we will be hosting AFCON in 2027 at the Kipchoge Stadium so this stadium will be used for training. Let’s ensure quality is observed,” said Mr Koiyet.

The stadium which is at 64 percent to completion will host several sporting activities from the running tracks, football pitch, indoor games and a basketball pitch.
