The 2024 Cycling Championship

The 2024 African Road Cycling Championships in Eldoret, Kenya, have been a historic and exciting event! Held from October 9 to 13, this prestigious event saw elite, under-23, and junior cyclists from nearly 20 countries complete on a challenging 175km course

One of the standout moments was Eritrean cyclist Henok Mulubrhan securing his third consecutive championship title, finishing the race in 3 hours, 46 minutes, and 21 seconds. His victory has cemented Eritrea’s reputation as a powerhouse in African cycling.

The event has also had a significant impact on the local community, boosting the economy and bringing a vibrant atmosphere to  the City  of Eldoret. Crowds gathered to cheer on their favorite cyclists, reflecting the growing popularity of cycling in the region.
