The Acting City Manager, Mr. Samuel Kiptoo Kemboi, met with over 300 city staff members on Friday morning at the City Social Hall, marking his first major engagement with the team since assuming office.
In his address, Mr. Kiptoo urged all employees to uphold professionalism, mutual respect, and diligence in service delivery.
> “Let’s do the work we were hired to do, but above all, let us respect one another—whether senior or junior. That street cleaner matters just as much,” he emphasized.
He called on the team to support the Governor’s vision of a cleaner, more efficient city under the Nguzo Kumi platform.
> “Our Governor is passionate about making this city shine. Let’s not let him down. Everyone has a role to play,” said Kiptoo.
The Acting Manager assured staff of his commitment to improving workplace conditions, including the provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and essential tools for daily tasks. He also relayed the Governor’s message of goodwill, highlighting forthcoming improvements to the staff medical cover.
